Everyone knows that the world has long suffered from widespread
shortages in its science and engineering workforce, and that if continued
these shortages will cause it to fall behind its major economic competitors. Everyone knows that these workforce shortages are due mainly to the myriad weaknesses of world education in science and mathematics, which international comparisons of student performance rank as average at best. Science and engineering occupations are at the leading edge of economic competitiveness in an increasingly globalized world, and science and engineering workforces of sufficient size and quality are essential for any 21st century economy to prosper. These professional workforces also are crucial for addressing challenges such as international security, global climate change, and domestic and global health. While they therefore are of great importance, college graduates employed in science and engineering occupations actually comprise only a small fraction of the workforce. Law, medicine, business and IT are tops again in the latest Graduate Employment Survey Results. Fresh lawyers earn an average gross monthly salary of 5k+, while fresh doctors and dentists make 4k+. IT, business graduates and almost all the rest get 3k+. Here there are some reasons why science graduates have to get higher salary than social science graduates.First of all the definition of science graduates is the person to be granted an academic degree or diploma in any field of science. They have been familiar with research system enables students to study not only their area of specialty, but also to learn cuttingedge research from other fields of study and research that cuts across fields. In order to respond to the various complex and diverse modern issues of science and technology, such as environmental energy issues, we have prepared a flexible education and research system that is not bound by previous research areas. For social science graduates, they encompass sociology, politics, economics, law, education, business studies, town planning and many others. They also examine and explain human functioning on a variety of interlocking levels, ranging from neural foundations to individual behaviour, group processes and the functioning of entire societies.
Science students have better and broad understanding of the world,
may allow to influence and develop accepted scientific knowledge, and will give the skills needed to approach most matters in a reasoned and analytical manner. While Graduates in social science subjects offer a wide range of skills that are enormously valuable to employers across the public, private and third sectors. These include the ability to understand complex issues holistically, on individual and cultural and societal levels; research, analyse and evaluate data critically; question assumptions; understand people, institutions and their relationships; understand processes of change make reasoned arguments communicate concisely and clearly and solve problems. So for research purpose science students have more benefit towards the company thus they have to get higher slary.
Studies have shown that approximately a third of science graduates
pursue a professional science or science-related career, another third use their science degree as a launch pad to gain employment in areas where a generic skills base is highly valued. A final third move into science research careers, pursuing a career in either academia or a research organisation. The skills students gain when studying the bachelor of any science, such as reason, logic, observation, analysis, resourcefulness, creativity, imagination and experimentation, form the essence of a great science education and are highly valued and sought after by employers. Graduates find employment both locally and internationally in business, industry and government, including scientific research. They can enhance their career opportunities with further study through an honours or masters degree, which will give them a competitive edge as they enter the job market and allow them to move into higher management positions in their chosen profession. They can also do scientific colaborations with other companies.Scientific collaborations are a principal method by which young scientists can cultivate their professional networks and develop research opportunities, for a better production and also ransom money. A successful scientific collaboration almost invariably results in the opportunity to do more work together later. Traveling (either literally or intellectually) from one lab to another exposes them to the members of companies collaborators' labs and other people in their host institutions.
