THE ADVANTAGES:
Service outlets can be positioned at
any point along the trunking run
and can be easily moved after initial
installation to accommodate
changes in layout at any time.

to be totally screened by metal
dividers. This prevents interference
and provides complete safety
requirements.
Full data segregation provided using
screening saddles behind outlet
points.
Trunking dividers provided with
20mm knock outs at 200mm
centres to position outlets at any
location.
The use of joint cover strips
drastically reduces on-site metal
cutting requirements with any raw
edge being covered by the cover
strip.
Both trunking body and steel lid
supplied self-colour for painting on
site, or in a wide range of finishes
including white high gloss coated
steel, stove enamelled and powder
coated.
Supplied in 2 metre lengths
complete with connecting sleeves,
and lid fixings.
Available in two basic sections:
rectangular and bevelled.

Skirting & Dado Trunking

A range of purpose made odd

angle bends and pier sets are
available to suit all Cableducts
skirting, dado and bench trunking.
Cableduct engineers will measure
for customers on site.
However, the design of Cableduct
trunking is such that pier sets can
be easily fabricated on-site using a
combination of inside and outside
bends.
The use of cover strips means that
lids can be cut on-site around
piers without detracting from the
appearance.

The above data is based on the 15th edition of I.E.E wiring regulations for electrical installation (1981)
which allows for a space factor of 45%.
Trunking size is determined by multiplying the number of each single core pvc insulated cable size by
the appropriate factor shown in Table A. This amount is compared with the factor shown in Table B.
This factor should either equal or exceed the final factor used.
