Jump rope for Heart TUESDAY, NOV. 25


Our elementary students have been learning about the importance of heart health through healthy eating and exercising.
In conjunction with the American Heart Association, the students are asking for sponsorships for the Jump Rope for Heart which
will be Tues, Nov. 25, from 1:00 to 2:00pm in the multi-purpose building. All proceeds will go to the American Heart Association.
Thank You to the Food Service employees for the home-made cookies they provided yesterday
for both the American Education Appreciation & the Parent Involvement Luncheon.
Thank you to Ms. Fletcher & her Culinary Class for preparing yesterdays parent lunch
Thank you to Ms. Bray & Ms. Walker for showing your appreciation for the staff by setting up
yesterdays warm & sweet treats.
**Algebra I Tutoring: Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00-4:00pm, starting Nov 4 and ending Dec 4. Please see Kassi Malcolm or
Roy Carroll to sign up. Algebra I Re-takes are scheduled for Dec 9.
**ACTIVITY BUS: The Activity Bus will depart FCS at 6:00pm on Mondays through Thursdays. Starting Mon, Nov. 24, the activity bus will
depart at 5:15pm. The Activity Bus is for students being supervised by a school staff member for after school activities. Students who are on
campus after school, & are not being supervised by a staff member, should be sent to the front office so parents can be contacted.

Franklin County Adult School GED Testing Center is now open!


If you are interested in earning your GED, go to www.GED.com & register to take the test, choosing the Franklin County site for testing.
You will not be able to take the test on the same day that you register, so register early!
The testing site is at the Franklin County District Office (old Brown Elementary School). The hours of operation are:
Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 9:00am-1:00pm and 5:00pm-10:00pm - presently closed these days
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00am-10:00pm.
