1.1 Introduction to Amtek Tekfor

2.1 Core technology
Forming
The manufacturing of company s efficient and technically high quality steel and N
E metal components and assemblies is based on the basic technology of forming.
The company s established strength in forming is a combination of longstanding exp
erience and optimal employment of machinery and facilities.
The benefits of forming are comprehensive: in addition to the production of prec
ision components with excellent product attributes, such as a high level of dura

2.3 Assembly Technology

2.4 Heat and Surface Treatment


High quality components can only be made through perfecting their attributes. Con
sequently, during and following the forming process, the company subjects all pa
rts to heat and surface treatment.
The heat treatment removes any undesirable attributes such as tension and brittl
eness. The desired attributes such as temper, malleability or specifically defin
ed strength characteristics, are achieved using state-of-the-art heat treatment
facilities.
The surface treatment facilities allow to set predetermined friction values or c
over all the parts with high quality, anti-corrosion protection.
Quality is assured through permanent electronic system monitoring, while traceab
ility is guaranteed by detailed process parameter documentation.
