HSE INSPECTION
1.

Introduction

HSE inspection is one of the best tools available to identify problems and
assess the risks before accidents and other losses occur.

The results of the inspections enables a management action plan to be

developed that addresses the shortfalls of the overall HSE program.

In addition, it serves as a very good HSE relations image with all members of
the workforce as they witness, SECL management and sub contractors actively
participating in practical HSE control. This demonstrates care and concern for
them and assists in developing a well-informed workforce who is motivated
towards achieving zero accidents.

The overall emphasis is placed on prevention, which is better than cure.
