NOBLE CAUSE : Empowerment of members of staff with INB
(Contributions from 13505 employees of our Circle would go to Charity)
There is an urgent need to migrate our customers from branch based transactions to Internet Banking
channel in order to bring down transaction cost and enhance customer convenience. Considering the
importance of popularizing this channel among the customers, especially the youngsters, we feel that
popularizing it among our employees will prove to be very effective. Accordingly, we are launching an INB
promotion program as Chandigarh Circle One Rupee INB Campaign for our Circle employees,
modalities of which are given below:
i.

CAMPAIGN PERIOD: 7th.Feb 2011 to 28th Feb 2011

ii.

ELIGIBILITY: All Branches/Admin Offices/CPCs in the Circle.

iii.

TRANSACTION: EVERY EMPLOYEE of each branch/Office/CPC will transfer through Internet

Banking, One Rupee from his/her salary account to Current Account No. 31617047575 styled
"CHANDIGARH CIRCLE ONE RUPEE INB CAMPAIGN" with Chandigarh Main Branch.

iv.

MANDATORY: Transfer of funds ONLY through Internet Banking Channel.

v.

NARRATION: Remarks field in third party transfer page, the PF Index of the employee followed
by the five digit branch code (of salary a/c) separated by a space to be mentioned, by which the
penetration level of INB in a particular branch can be tracked

vi.

BILLER ADDITION: This is a mandatory requirement for the staff at Branches/offices located in
Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar & Amritsar. ( Not applicable where a biller is already added
earlier)

vii.

CLAIM : Branches, after completing the process 100% to send an e-mail giving date of completion
to the AC & P Department, LHO on e-mail address cminb.lhocha@sbi.co.in.

viii.

INCENTIVES: The first three branches to complete the process in each subgroup as detailed
below in each of the two categories will be eligible for the following Prizes:

In addition, three branches under each RBO, completing the process
earliest would be given an incentive of Rs.1000/(Rupees One Thousand Only) each.

a. CATEGORIES: Two groups viz. 1. Metro & Urban & 2. Semi Urban & Rural
b. SUB GROUPS: As per incumbency as under:
(1) Branches of incumbency upto Scale II
(2) Branches of incumbency of Scale III
(3) Branches with incumbency of Scales IV, V and Branches under GM
d. Names of all successful branches (100% Staff INB A/cs) will be displayed on the Circle website.
