1) Manager (Fund Raising & Corporate Linkage):

Duties:
As Key person of Fundraising, the person will oversee the development and management of the
fundraising team (both professional and lay leadership). He/ She will set the strategy and vision
of the Fundraising Department in line with the overall mission of Organization/ program.
This post is the lead post in Major Donor and Legacy Fundraising and the post holder will be
expected to devote most of their time to these functions. This is a proactive role which includes
raising the profile of the organization to the community and potential donors. The person will
assist the Executive Director with the necessary administration for such work.
Important Responsibilities are as follows:
1. To help research, identify and develop potential new donors.
2. To liaise with the Trustees, voluntary and lay fundraisers and to work together with
them for identify potential donors. Develop a long term Fundraising and PR strategy for
AIRD together with the fundraising team, professional and other interested individuals,
and ensuring that this strategy is fully implemented in line with AIRDs overall mission.
In addition, the Head of Fundraising will be expected to liaise closely with both the
Executive Director and the Executive Committee, and in particular the Trustees and
Fundraising team who all have responsibility for High Value Donors. This will involve
ensuring that information on such donors is always available to them and that potential
new leads are followed up.
3. Manage departmental communication and ensure an efficient, effective, smooth
running fundraising office. Produced detailed annual action plans on specific areas of
responsibility outlined above, identifying areas for growth and development and
outlining measurable objectives. Maintain organized hard and soft files of all fundraising
information.
4. To act as an advocate for the organization within the wider community and with funding
bodies.
5. Build on relationships with existing trust supporters, writing reports to meet deadlines
and submitting further applications for funding. Identify and secure funding from
overseas foundations. Write tailored applications, addressing grant-making priorities or
requirements as specified by individual trusts and foundations.
6. Manage current corporate partnerships, suggesting a number of ways to build on these
relationships.
7. Identify and approach corporate prospects, securing financial contributions and the
support of employees. Manage the relationship with payroll giving agencies and other
organizations in order to increase the number of regular givers who support the work of
AIRD Now.
8. Contribute new ideas for fundraising and identify suitable funding initiatives, calls for
proposals etc.

9. Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying
strengths, weaknesses and areas for development.

2) State Manager (Fund Raising)


Duties:
1. Manage and create public awareness and participation for raising funds at state level.
2. Establish and achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly goals via various fundraising
methods with the guidance and direction of the Head (fund raising & corporate linkage).
3. With the consultation of department head, govern and manage all State Fundraising
Activities.
4. Solicit donations from individuals wherever appropriate and whenever opportunities
arise.
5. Setup Fundraising Events and manage all related activities.
6. developing and coordinating web-based fundraising, online auctions and merchandise sales (if
so)

7. Establish mechanisms to guarantee donations are made prior to scheduled events


8. Ensure that all event generated contributions are collected and forwarded to
organization Headquarters within 1-2 days following an event.
9. Keep accurate records of all donations and costs for each event at state level.
10. Participate in and invite potential large donors to attend a monthly meeting.
11. Advice and secure approval of any public or press release prior to an event from the
Department head.
12. Other duties and responsibilities as designated by the department head.
13. Set and meet yearly and quarterly fundraising goals.
14. Approves all public responses with head of the department prior to release.
15. Other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Executive Director of AIRD.

experience in the similar field.
