Madison Sabbath - January 23

Madison Joy Sabbath will be called
to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on
Saturday January 23, 2010. Joining
in the celebration are Madison's par-
ents, Susan and David Sabbath and
older sister Rachel. Proud grandpar-
ents are Sandra and Robert Weitz
and Beverly and Lawrence Sabbath.
Madison is a seventh grade honor
student at Norup International
School in Oak Park. Madison enjoys playing piano and
singing in the Norup seventh grade choir. She is on
Norup's basketball team and plays for the Huntington
Woods Hoops. She is also a member of Huntington
Woods Teen Council. Madison loves spending time with
her friends, listening to music, reading and playing with
her dog, Arnie. She also looks forward to spending her
summers at Camp Tamarack.
For her Mitzvah project, Madison volunteered doing
numerous activities for National Council of Jewish
Women. She also spent time at the Friendship Circle
volunteering in the nail salon, and baked desserts for
a fundraiser at the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. In
addition, she hosted a Brunch Bark Mitzvah in which
her wonderful family and friends donated food and other
supplies for animals at the Michigan Animal Rescue
League.
