The MIT Sloan Master of Science in Management Studies (MSMS)
is a nine-month program exclusively for students with an international
MBA. As an MSMS student, you will immerse yourself in a specific field
by choosing from a broad range of specialized electives, engaging in realworld action learning projects, and completing a masters level thesis.
Its an innovative and rigorous program that allows you to follow your
passion and study with some of the worlds greatest minds. You gain a
level of expertise and experience that makes you a true authority in your
chosen area and positions you for long-term career success.

You are continuing your education because

you know what you want. As an MSMS
student, you will create a curriculum tailored
to your unique objectives.

You spend your nine months as part of a tightknit and supportive MSMS community. But you
also meet students and faculty from across MIT
Sloan and beyond, growing your network and
building relationships that last.

Customized classwork: There are

no required classes for MSMS students.
Instead, you will choose from a wide range
of electives offered by MIT Sloan, MIT,
and partnerschools.
Thesis: You will work with a faculty
member to complete a masters level thesis
on a topic relevant to you, creating
new knowledge as well as personal and
professional growth.
Action learning: You will have the
opportunity to bring what you learn to life
through labs, proseminars, and other realworld learning opportunities.

In the classroom: In addition to your fellow

MSMS colleagues, you will study with students
from other MIT Sloan programs, from across
MIT, and from other area schools, benefiting
from their diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Out and about: Join a student club or check
out our many conferences and events. You will
meet new people while gaining valuable
experience and honing your leadership skills.
After graduation: At the end of your
nine months, you join a network of more
than 22,000 MIT Sloan alumni and 120,000
MIT alumni, connections that will benefit
you for decades to come.
