Configuring SNMP Interface

Purpose
Prerequisites

70

To install and configure SNMP interface

Prior to performing this task, make sure that the ISMG
server has been installed.

Confidential and Proprietary Information of ZTE CORPORATION

Chapter 2 System Installation

Steps

Perform the following step to configure SNMP interface:

Modify SNMP port number according to the configuration

specification.
SNMP port information exists in the following location:
$OMCHOME\umc-svr\deploy-default.properties
SNMP port
################################################
###
# SNMP Manager excluded local port.
userdefined-uep-protocol-snmp.ports=2944
# Snmp agent binding port. 21117 in uep socket
specification to avoid port conflict.
userdefined-uep-psl-snmpagent.port=161
################################################
###

It is reflected from onsite commissioning that messages of

port 2944 are interpreted as service messages. This
configuration item is added to avoid confusion and need not
be changed.
END OF STEPS
Result

SNMP interface is configured successfully.

userdefined-uep-psl-debugprn.file-size=8192KB
userdefined-uep-psl-debugprn.backup-index=20
userdefined-uep-psl-debugprn.buffer-io=false
userdefined-uep-psl-debugprn.buffer-size=8192
