I would like a report with the following, separating each bullet into
sections with appropriate headings:
A summary of your final project idea in the same amount of
detail as in your class presentations. Include images that would
help explain your idea, and include captions with whatever
images you include. Discuss the market value and why your
idea displays some creativity on your part (and is not just an
exact replica of something that already exists)
A discussion of the content feedback you got. Include the top
five things about your idea that were suggested, and discuss
how (or if) you will modify your idea and why or why not
A discussion of the presentation feedback you got. Include the
top five things about your delivery that needed work and how
you think including those elements into your final presentation
will make the delivery stronger.
A plan for how you will take the idea from where it is now to
where you want it to be for your final project. Include things
such as: list of tasks with a rough timetable; who you need to
talk to for help; what supplies you need and estimated budget
for materials (including 3D printing budget if applicable $7.50
per cubic inch for material, no cost for printing labor);
comment on what part of your idea you will be able to
implement in some way (physical or software prototype,
simulation/animation, etc.) and what part you can only discuss

on paper and why you wont be able to create that part of your
plan that youll only be able to discuss on paper (requires
$100M of research funding, requires you to make very
complicated physical device, etc.). REMEMBER: You will need
to implement at least some part of your idea, in at least some
capacity; I dont want an entirely paper-based idea, as there
must be some engineering involved.

Some things to keep in mind:

The work you do here will be useful for your final project parts, so the
more effort you do now the less you need to do the day before the final
project is due
Just to keep in mind the things Ill expect for the three parts of your
final project, take a look at the slides on the final project that I put it
the Resources section of Collab
I will be giving your group feedback on this in class on Thursday Nov.
