Course Description
The course involves the study of numerical solutions involving linear and nonlinear equations. This also involves interpolation and regression. In addition,
Integration and Differentiation using estimation is also involved in this subject matter.

2.0 Intended Learning Outcomes of the Course


After completing this course, the student must be able to:

Identify the different sources of error in scientific computing;


Be able to solve linear and nonlinear equations using numerical analysis;
Be able to perform differentiation and integration using numerical methods;
To understand the concept of interpolation and regression;
Be able to perform ODE, PDE and Optimization
imbibe the values of honesty, orderliness, patience and persistence in one's work in order to carry on such desirable traits in the practice of one's profession.
