Provided In-house and remote desktop support for end users on multiple platforms: Win
XP, Vista, Mac OS 10 (6 systems total), Linux (built Linux Server), Active Directory.
Supported 80 end users remotely (VPN), 30 end users on site, on a team of one other
technician and a third party vendor for network support (3 technicians).
Worked as Server administrator on Windows 2003 and 2008 server.
Implemented a proprietary ticketing system called OS ticket to track work orders

Responsible for growth management of off shore employees.
Acted as a member of the on-site on call 24/7 support team consisting of 12 technicians.
Handled 40 to 60 calls per day.

Played a key role in the successful migration of watchdog fireboxes to Cisco ASA 5505s
with very minimal downtime.
Imaged monitoring boxs that allowed help desk to SSH in order for VNC through the
firewall.
Monitored multiple servers using a Nagios Linux based monitoring system.
Win Mobile 5: Supported, maintained, performed factory resets as needed, mostly
training end users on functionality and on phone how to set up email.
Implemented new Sonicwall VPN client for an entire company and migrated all the old
users off of the Cisco VPN client when 75 percent became remote.
Able to successfully configure and migrate an Exchange server with a failed drive and no
raid configured to a VM with minimal downtime.
Very instrumental in the setup of a VLAN from New York to Texas on a switch firewall
and router in order to migrate over a newly acquired company to the network.

Successfully moved a company from a Novell and GroupWise environment to an all


Windows Exchange environment.
Implemented a Color coated simple ticket flow chart to make Help desk more efficient.
