Deriva de cero
Se suelen considerar la deriva de cero a la variacin en la seal de salida para el valor cero
de la medida atribuible a cualquier causa interna. Es el cambio en la lectura del cero de
un instrumento que pueda suceder con el tiempo (figura 1).
Deriva de sensibilidad
La deriva de sensibilidad es la cantidad que vara la sensibilidad como resultado de
cambios en las condiciones ambientales (figura 2).

Es un parmetro que describe las frecuencias que puede recibir o emitir un dispositivo.
Es decir, la respuesta de un sistema en estado de rgimen permanente ante una
entrada sinusoidal. Cuando aplicamos a un sistema una entrada senoidal, la salida tambin
ser senoidal y de la misma frecuencia. La salida puede diferir de la entrada en amplitud y
fase.
Estabilidad
Aptitud de un instrumento de medicin para mantener constante en el tiempo, sus
caractersticas metrolgicas. En el caso de que la estabilidad se considere en funcin de
otra magnitud diferente del tiempo, esta debe ser mencionada claramente.
La estabilidad puede ser cuantificada en varias formas, por
ejemplo:
Por el tiempo en el cual cambia una caracterstica metrolgica por una cantidad
dada.
El cambio de una caracterstica en un tiempo
determinado.
