HY8002

Quiz #1

Rules
Put away your mobile phones, books, and notes. I only
want you to have Clickers on your desks.
Do not talk or signal to each other. If you want more
clarication on a question, do not talk to the person
next to you. Raise your hand, and I will call on you. I
want the room absolutely silent when I present the
questions.
Do not cheat. Do not do anything that could be
mistaken for cheating. If I see you doing something that
looks like cheating, you get a zero for the quiz.

Rules
There are 10 questions, all worth 1 point each.
Remember: there are 5 quizzes, and I throw away your
lowest quiz grade. 15% of your nal grade for this class
will be based on your 4 highest quiz scores.
So my advice for these quizzes: Dont panic if you get a
question wrong! Think of it as an indication of what you
need to review for the midterm and nal.
