visited our Club
on November 4th
for an update on
our projects and
plans. He was
impressed by our Rotaractors,
and also by our Clubs work towards improving our administration and focus. Our full report to the Governor can be

The fellowship dinner at the
Grand Pasha Hotel was enjoyed
by all 3 North Cyprus Rotary
Clubs as well as Rotaractors and
Inner Wheel.

Cyprus Conference 1 & 2 November

Eight members of our Club
travelled to Troodos on the
1st and 2nd November for the
Annual Cyprus Rotary Conference. The Rotary Awareness Seminar held on the
Saturday was a chance to be
Rotary International policy
affecting Clubs, and a summary was presented for
those who didnt attend by
Rtn Amanda at our Club
Meeting on November
12th. This can be

weekend was a great
opportunity to renew
friendships with Rotarians from all over Cyprus.

Foundation Month

November was foundation month on the Rotary International Calendar. To mark this, and in
light of our recent successful Polio Plus fundraiser, Rotarian Dr Didem enlightened us with a
Powerpoint presentation about Polio and the
Rotary Foundation efforts to eradicate this disease.

Club Strategic Plan

At our dining meeting on Wednesday 19th
November, President Malcolm explained to
the Club via a Powerpoint presentation the
importance that Rotary International sees in
every Rotary club having a Strategic Plan.
Our Club Strategic Plan was available in
printed form, and is now also available to
view on the members reports section of our
website.

Fellowship Visit from Mersin Rotary

Our busy month was rounded off with a fellowship visit
from the Rotary Club of Mersin. Strong ties had previously been established with
this Club, particularly during
Past President Ahmets year,
and this was a great opportunity to catch up with Club
news and make new friends.

Club News and Announcements:

December 3rd is a dining meeting with Guest of Honour the Prime Minister of North Cyprus,
Mr zkan Yorgancolu and his wife.

December 10th is our Annual meeting for Club Elections.

Due to Christmas Eve and New Years Eve our Club Meetings on the 24th and 31st December
are cancelled.

Our Club end of year party will be held on Sunday December 28th at the Dome Hotel. This is
great chance to invite family and friends, and to celebrate the incoming year.
