FORMAT FOR MOTION ANALYSIS:

Activity #3-1

Investigating Accelerated System of Forces & Accelerated Motion

in Ball Games
(by: Mrs. RDK Formalejo)

Instructions - Specifications:
1. Compile together fully accomplished Data Sheets on IMPULSE AND MOMENTUM & PROJECTILE MOTION and
attach original Analysis Reports for both reports;
2. For your Final Analyses (making use of your original field notes), make sure to have followed the same format
shown below. If not, do necessary revisions in your report for a better understanding and presentation of the
concepts conveyed and learned in the activities;
3. For the completion of your ERF Report, provide and include:
a. Cover page with the correct title as indicated above;
b. All 2 Data Sheets (fully accomplished);
c. All original and stamped Activity Sheets (Field Notes taken while viewing videos or observing Ball Games);
d. Revised Motion Analysis for both; and
e. Self-formulated Conclusion to answer the objectives of the activity.
ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES:
to define and describe accelerated motion during interaction of bodies;
to locate/specify the event where acceleration takes place & then illustrate accelerated system of forces
during interaction in ball games:
(1) ball rolling down an Inclined Plane Activity;
(2) ball passing-catching activity
(3) ball walling activity
(4) egg-catching activity
(5) volleyball game
to cite and explain the natural occurrences that happen during acceleration in the interaction of bodies as
can be seen, heard and felt upon observation and experience;
to formulate generalizations of concepts discovered and proven about Newtons Interaction Law through
words and operational definitions:
(1) Impulse and Momentum
(2) Acceleration in Projectile Motion
FORMAT FOR MOTION ANALYSIS OF ACCELERATED SYSTEM OF FORCES:
(Provide all diagrams with complete necessary PQs and symbols to highlight and complete the thought / ideas
conveyed for thorough analysis.)
