1. Getting to know one another introduce yourself by adding adjectives to your name: example, hi, Im Jolly
Jimmy, Ravishing Ronie, Promising Pang.
2. Hula-hoop Challenge
Equipment: Hula Hoop
Mechanics: A hula hoop will pass from 1 person to another within a limited time, depending on the number of
participants. Challenge them by cutting the time. Give them time to discuss techniques.
Application: Team work, willing to work under pressure, be creative, open for change
3. Free falling
Mechanics: Participants will be divided into team (6members). Each member will stand at the center and the rest will
stand and support the falling member. The one in the middle will say:
IT: Team are you ready
Team: Yes, were ready
IT: Team Im falling
Team: Yes, you may fall
Application: Trust your team members, members should show support and not let one member fall, team work,
value the importance of the person/colleague, learn to let go of yourself, interdependent

4. Big Squeeze
Equipment: None
Mechanics: Easy game for a big group (at least 20, if not more). Quickly divide into 2 teams and announce that each
team will be racing to squeeze into the shape of an item mentioned. For example: if the leaders yells out the word
"football" the teams must squeeze into the shape of a football as would be seen from above.
Good Squeeze Shapes: Squeeze into the shape of Mongolia, a dog, a pair of sunglasses, a baseball bat, a shark, Ger.
Application: Innovation, team work, leadership, learn to follow instruction, result oriented, attentiveness

5. Mummy Wrap
Equipment: 3 or 6 rolls of toilet paper
Mechanics: Super adult picnic game! Pick three groups of three people each. Give each a roll or two of toilet paper.
Make sure you give each team the same amount. Two people wrap up (like a mummy) the third person in the group.
The object of the game is to: See who can wrap up their "mummy" first or who is most creative in their "mummifying".
You could have the crowd vote or the staff.

Application: Creativity, team work, be particular with the details, focus

6. Three-Legged Balloon Race


Equipment: Balloons and bandanas
Mechanics: Put your heads together and race!
This game is for 6 or more players and should be played outside or in an open area. Split into pairs and give each pair a
balloon and a bandana. Standing side by side, have teammates use the bandana to tie their legs together. Then,
teammates have to hold the balloon between their heads and race to the end of the playing field and back. If they drop
their balloon, they have to start all over again. The team that gets back to the starting line first wins. Ready, set, go!
Application: Two heads are better than one, coordination and control, be sensitive to your partner, follow instruction
carefully, slowly but surely, teamwork, honesty
7. Charades
Equipment: paper and marker with names of film, famous personality, animals, etc.
Mechanics: One of the easiest adult picnic games to coordinate is charades. The first step is to choose a theme for the
game, and you should take into consideration your guests' interests. Movies are a great theme for film buffs. Other ideas
include Hollywood celebrities, animals, historical. Once the theme has been determined, have each guest write down on
a small piece of paper the name of a person or thing that relates to the theme. Collect all of the names and place them
in a hat or bowl. Shuffle the names, and have each guest select what they will be required to act out. Have a volunteer
for the first participant, and then the person who guesses correctly is the next participant.

Application: Communication, express yourself freely, no hesitations, ingenuity


8. Limbo Contest
Equipment: Yardstick and upbeat music
Mechanics: Another way to have some competitive fun and demonstrate your youthful flexibility is to have a limbo
contest. With a yardstick and some upbeat music, particularly something with a Latin beat, it's easy to get the game
going. To begin, designate one or two people to be in charge of holding the limbo stick. Next, start the music and each
participant is to walk under the stick. Make sure to start with the stick high enough that everyone can clear it easily.
Once everyone has passed under the stick, the stick holders need to lower it by a couple of inches. With the stick lower,
participants must bend backwards to clear it, and they are not allowed to squat or stoop. Anyone who cannot clear the
stick is eliminated from the game. As the stick is lowered, only the most flexible players will remain. The winner is the
last remaining person to pass under the stick
Application: Be persistent, willing to accept challenges and responsibilities

9. Butt Charades
Equipment: None
Mechanics: Cut up slips of paper with words on them and put them into a bag. Break up into two teams. Get a volunteer
from each team to spell the word he/she took out of the bag by moving their hips (spelling the words with their butts!).
(Make sure they do not say a word to give away clues.) If their team does not figure out the word after two spellings, the
other team gets to guess.
Make it interesting by the words you choose, try to keep it clean. We don't want any dirty butts!
Application: read between the line, focus, creativity, work under pressure

10. The Great Egg Drop


Instructions:
In this lesson you will use teamwork to design a container that would protect a raw egg as it falls to the ground from a
height of 8 feet. Your team will receive an egg and a bag of materials. You will be given time to brainstorm how you
might construct a protective mechanism for dropping your egg without breaking it. You are only allowed to use the
materials in your bag within the time frame allotted. It will be important to work well with your teams in analyzing the
materials you are given and predicting which materials will safely protect your egg during its descent.
Team Roles:
1. Materials Manager - the person whose birthday is the nearest in the future. Picks up, manages, and returns all
materials.
2. Checker - the person to the right of the materials manager; makes certain all tasks are carried out correctly, answers
team questions and seeks out assistance when team requests it. Also responsible for navigating to the websites
identified by the instructor to check for resources explaining the outcomes of their trials;
3. Encourager - the person to the right of the Checker; responsible for establishing and keeping a positive team spirit.
4. Reporter/Recorder - the person to the right of the Encourager; responsible for taking down notes the team
brainstorming notes and the selections for assembling the protective mechanism as well as recording the results of the
team trials. This person will also report the findings of the team.
5. If there are five team members the fifth person will be the reporter.
After your team has assigned and reviewed the roles, the materials manager can pick up the team materials.
Materials
1. One egg for every group of students
2. One foot of tape for every group of students
3. 15 pcs straws
In your design, you should choose one or two variables and test the results of this variable on your crate. Your
design must not include changing the egg in any way (no tape on the egg, no nail polish on the egg, no hollow
eggs...). In this project, you should be trying to apply some of the knowledge about motion.
Part I. (3 minutes) Once the team has taken time to read the egg drop instructions and look over the materials, they
will brainstorm ideas on how to create the most protective mechanism (design a prototype).
After brain storming, the checker makes sure everyones idea is discussed and the most agreed upon plan will be
selected. The checker may consult with other groups if their teams wish.
Part II. (10 minutes) When the team has decided upon the construction plan, they may begin to construct their
mechanism. Following the construction, the group then chooses a slogan for their group and select an
energizer(adverts) which they would like the group to give them as they complete their drop.
The encourager leads the cheer following the groups presentation

Part III. (2 minutes) When all teams have completed their mechanisms the instructor will bring them to the drop site.
The group then chooses a slogan for their group and assist the recorder in preparing a graphic organizer for teaching the
whole group about what they learned. They also select an energizer which they would like the group to give them as
they complete their presentation.

Part IV Processing: Each team assesses the quality of the work their team accomplished in the egg activity.
Application: Leadership, creativity, maximize the resources, communication, team work, work under pressure,
perform your assigned duties well, be responsible member, division of labor
11. Goal setting
Equipment: Chair and hip hop music
Mechanics: Each person will make a dance move from one place to another. He/she will create a strategy how to reach
from Point A to point B.
Application: Have to reach the goal, be persistent, innovative

12. The greatest performance of your life


Equipment: Classical music
Mechanics: Lights off. Imagine you have a musical instrument or think of any musical instrument you can play or want
to play. Imagine that you are in a concert with thousands of people watching and you have to give your best. As the
music play everyone will play their chosen instrument.
Application: giving/doing your best in everything, use and share your God given talent/skills/gifts, excellence, team
work
