PROFESSIONAL STINT:Piramal Glass Limited: - Feb2013 to May14

Graduate Engineer Trainee - (Promoted to) Executive Central Planning Cell
Have been trained & exposed to 3 technical departments of the organization including Instrumentation,
Cold end maintenance & Production Planning.

In Instrumentation was responsible for maintenance & calibration of instrumentation devices

pertaining to glass manufacturing which included PRV valves on gas grid, furnace pyrometers
and pressure gauges to name a few.
Packaging machines, Inspection machines, Conveyer belts and Proximity sensors were some
genres of technical machineries & equipment prodigies for which I was accountable under the
Cold end maintenance department.
Below the category of Production Planning, I was responsible for working as a overall activity
coordinator where in the entire cycle starting from glass production to dispatch of the same to
the customer end.
Maintenance of Sales v/s production on daily basis, for the tracking and plotting of the
production ratio at the plant based on the customer requirements & orders.
Assisting the Operational Maintenance head at the time of any machinery break down in order
to repair or check the system on timely basis for aversion of down time into production plan.

Assistance to Quality head for checking and assurance of the quality of the glass bottles at
regular intervals adhering to the organizational quality norms and customers expectations.
Overall plotting of the production process into manual grid in order forecast issues into the
production in assistance with the operational head and help him prepare a contingency plan
pertaining to system breakdowns, so that the production cycle is hampered on the minimal
level.

ADDITIONAL ACCOLADES & PROJECTS WORKED ON:1. Certificate course on Industrial Automation Control System which includes PLC (Micrologix 1000
Analog SLC 5/03). Programming with software RS Logix 500 & Communication with RS Linux, DH
485 and creation of new process layouts using SCADA software.
2. A sound grip on core courses like Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, and Industrial Control
Systems & Digital Logic Designing.
3. Worked on project for creation of Wireless Keyboard using ZIgBee Module in which a proper
circuit connection was established between an ATMEGA128 microcontroller and a wired
keyboard by 8051 programming language.
4. Worked on Project for Vehicle Speed Monitoring System using a Microcontroller & GSM Modem
for commercial application in order to monitor over speeding and avoid mishaps in real world by
use of technical edge.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:1. Attended a certified workshop on Wireless Communication by THINKLAB SOLUTIONS at IIT
POWAI from the GTU University being the Event head in Robotics.
2. Attended one more certified workshop on development and functioning of a Robotic
Arm at Maharaja Sayajirao University.
3. Headed the Basketball Team for State level tournament from year 2003 2005. And also won
the basketball tournament with the same team on District level in 2005.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Secured 88.71% in S.S.C and 84% in H.S.C from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary
Education Board (GSHSEB).
Hold a degree of Bachelor of Engineering into Electronics & Communication with a CGPA of
7.48 (69.8%) from SVIT, Vasad.
Currently pursuing PGPM (MBA) degree course from IBS Mumbai.
