Sashastra Seema Bal and Border Security Forces (Ministry of Home Affairs - Government of
India) are para Military Forces, deputed at Indo-Nepal Border areas, where as Indo-Nepal
Government have many business agreements, mutually decided by them, there are established
net work between India and Nepal to control non exempted materials export Import and
smuggling of these articles are prohibited with out licenses.
Gadhimai temple situated in Bara District adjoining border area in Nepal, where after every five
years mass culling of animals organised and these animals are being smuggled from India, with
out any valid permit, hence following information may kindly be supplied under RTI Act, 2005:
1. All copies of orders passed by the Para Military Forces, to control the illegal smuggling of
animals from India to Nepal and Bangladesh.
2. Complete list of animal Infirmaries set up by the Indian Government, which are required
under section 35 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, on the border areas of
Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tibet and Myanmar.
3. Complete list of Government Establishments on the border areas of Nepal, Bangladesh,
Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tibet and Myanmar, set up, to prevent the animal abuse, like
Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - SPCAs.
4. Complete list of animals species wise exported from India to the above seven Countries during
last five years.
5. Complete list of animal abuse cases exposed, caught by the Para Military Forces at the border
areas of said seven Countries, during last five years.
6. Present status of all above cases along with the status of animals at present, as demanded in
point 5 above.
7. Type of vehicles along with Registration number carries animals and people caught and
booked in animal abuse, illegal export at the border areas of seven Countries.
8. Complete list of mechanism and policies along with man power and equipments applied at

Border areas of seven Countries, to handle illegal movement and animal smugglings.
9. Any future planning in pipelines, to handle illegal animal smugglings.
10. Complete list of task forces, joint Inspection and patrolling bodies formed at the border areas
of seven countries.
11. Complete list of animal welfare legislations, guidelines, policies and orders passed by the
Para Military Forces for the animals in their custody.
It is further requested that if Ministry of Home Affairs dont have any required, then please
forward the relevant portion under 6 (3) of RTI Act, 2005 to the concerned SPIOs.
