Course Description

The purpose of this course is to link the theory of modern finance to lifetime personal
financial planning using advanced applied technology. The students will learn to participate
on a team with a topic and develop a personal financial plan via classroom and WebCT
participation. The personal financial plan will consist of two parts: a short-term plan for
things like the education of children and repayment of student loans and a long-term plan for
retirement.
