Effective management determines the amount of your resources. Whatever you
mismanage, you will lose. Christians frequently quote Psalm 84:11, “...no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” This scripture means if you do not walk uprightly, God withholds. Walking uprightly includes walking according to the principles that God ordains. Diligence is another word for management. Diligence is a God-ordained principle. Proverbs 13:22 states, “A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.” This verse states that a good man always thinks about saving. You cannot save without managing. The temptation to spend must be disciplined by diligence. Another verse Christians frequently quote: “...a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous” (Prov. 13:22). The “wicked” or “sinner” includes those individuals who do not live their lives for the purposes or benefit of God’s will. God says that they have your wealth. God knows they have it. How did they get this wealth? He gave it to them. Why did God give it to them? He gives resources to those that manage. The money that is intended for your use is in the hands of the wicked, and it will not come to you by you standing there saying, “Money cometh!” It will not come automatically. You have been praying for the last ten years and cannot get that money. It does not come through prayer alone but through management. When this was revealed to me, my life was changed. God does not give to saints but to managers, even if they are wicked. That is why you work for them. That is why you are the borrower and not the lender. No matter how much you are tempted, do not spend what you cannot afford. You must save and tithe. If you do not manage, the wicked will take your money. Stop claiming wealth. You have to attract it to you through management. Proverbs 10:4 states, “Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.” We have already noted that diligence means management. Wealth comes to you if you are a manager. Management can be as simple as folding the clothes in your drawer and having everything in its place in the home. You are managing the resources you have. Proverbs 12:27 says, “The lazy man does not roast his game, but the diligent man prizes his possessions.” This means that the manager values what he has. How do you handle your home, money, and time? Managers prize the little things. As I have illustrated, the Bible is filled with wisdom keys for management and effective coordination of resources. It is up to every individual to choose whether they want to live by the principles of the Kingdom of God to reap the benefits of a King that owns all of the resources of the earth.
