We
are looking for teacher trainers who are able to provide in-house English language teaching to Ministry of Education
(MoE) staff. The purpose is to enable Ministry staff to better engage with international education policy materials, and
with international donors and other international education stakeholders; advise on the development of the integrated
English language components of the diploma in education management, which VSO is working with the MoE to develop
Skills, qualifications and experience required
You will have appropriate English Language Teaching qualifications
A minimum of five years relevant teaching/training experience
Experience in course design as well as in teaching
You will also have a high proficiency in English
Together with the above, VSO will assess all candidates against the following competencies, which make up VSO's
volunteer competency framework. You're open minded and respectful. You're resilient and adapt well to new situations.
You're able to facilitate positive change and build sustainable working relationships. But most of all, as this is the vision of
VSO, you're competent to seek and share knowledge.
What we offer
A contract for the duration of the placement- 12months. In terms of financial support, VSO will cover the following costs:

One return flight to get you to, and home from, your placement
Accommodation
Two kinds of Volunteer allowance given monthly-Home country funded allowance (HCFA) & In-country funded
allowance (ICFA) to cover your basic living expenses while overseas according to the destination country
