Technical specification

A 25 kW hydraulic rock drill for fast underground long-hole drilling

in the hole range 76115 mm. High penetration rate and excellent
drill steel life.

Features and benefits

Impact piston design matches the size of the drill steel. This feature gives minimum drill
steel stress.
COP 2550UX has a separate flushing head mounted entirely in front of the rest of the rock
drill. A careless gasket change therefore has no more serious consequences than a drenching
for the operator.
Separate lubrication of the shank adapter and front bushing ensures adequate lubrication/
cooling during heavy use and prevents contaminants from penetrating the drill at the front.
Pressurized mating surfaces with lubricating air prevent the ingress of dirt and damp into
the drill.
Powerful, stepless variable and reversible rotation motor gives high torque for efficient
drilling, and minimize the risk of jamming.
The gear housing has been provided with continuous hydraulic-oil cooling, a refinement
that efficiently holds down the working temperature. This means the gear does not have to
be manually greased.
Flushing pressures up to 20 bar ensures efficient removal of cuttings and better bit life.
