Jamaica is host to globally-known Festival of

Religious Freedom
Published: Sunday, November 16, 2014 10:43:54 AM

Come January 24, 2015, the Seventh-day

Adventist Church in Jamaica will spearhead
the globally-known Festival of Religious
Freedom. The Festival is held for the most
part in countries where the citizens enjoy
freedom of religion and hence freedom of
worship.
According to the United States International
Religious Freedom report 2013,
approximately 76% of the worlds population
or three quarters of the worlds population
are experiencing total or some form of religious infringements.

With Jamaica being one of the countries experiencing total religious freedom enshrined in its
Constitution, it is only fitting that Jamaica be the first stop for the 2015 calendar year.
