2) Today Madelyn Burbank, Alexian brother will give a speech seminar to our CCD students. At 9:30 AM there
will be a seminar for parents also in the Chavara hall
3) Members of the new Parish council will meet at 9:30 AM in the conference room on Sunday, 21st December
to select the new trustees
4) Sunday, December 21st there will be seminar on Parent child relationship by Fr. Dr. Tom Tom MSFS in our
Parish hall at 9:30 AM sponsored by SMCC
5) Dec 21st, CCD Christmas pageant after 11:00 AM Mass in the Parish Hall.
6) Grand Parents day celebrations will be on Dec Sunday, 21st after 11:00 AM Mass. Womens forum will arrange
formal lunch in the Parish hall.
7) Sunday, December 28th is Holy Childhood day. There will be special blessing for children on that day during
all Mass
8) Saturday, January 3rd is the feast day of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. We will celebrate it on Sunday, 4th.
If someone wishes to sponsor the first feast of the saint, please contact the trustees.

Saturday, 3rd is CCD staff appreciation day.
10) Today there is confession facility for our children from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
11) January 22nd, there will be a March for Life procession in Washington D.C.

Bible Reading for Dec 21th - Mt 1:18-24 Gods intervention in birth of Jesus.

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about[a]: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to
Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. 19 Because Joseph
her husband was faithful to the law, and yet[b] did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to
divorce her quietly. 20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said,
Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from
the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[c] because he will save his
people from their sins.22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 The virgin
will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel[d] (which means God with us). 24 When
Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

December Prayer Meeetings

There will not be ward prayer meetings during the
month of December. Instead, as usual, we shall have
the ward-based Bible Quiz based on Acts of the
Apostles. Quizzes will be available from your ward
Presidents/ Representatives, or from any one of the
Malpans by Sunday November 30. Finished quizzes
may be returned to the Rectory no later than
Sunday, December 21st before 1 PM.

CML Winter Wonderfest

CML will be going on their annual field trip to
Winter Wonderfest on Saturday, January 3rd from
9 AM till 6 PM. The fee will be $30 to cover a full
meal, bus transportation, and the activity wristband.
There are four new attractions this year! Come check
it out with us!
