Look at the List of Indian Politician Graduated from IITs, NITs, IIMs and Prestigious Colleges of India

The IITs and NITs were to train high level engineers and technologists to help the country to progress.
The return of investment made on IITians & NITians be reaped only when they contribute towards
scientific- technological development of the country and not by entering politics or heading some bank,
even if it is RBI. Otherwise there is no use of technical education imparted to them. Many of them went
off to the USA and served Microsoft, Google or Apple leaving India for good. There is no requirement for
these, taxpayer paid, virtuosi, to return and serve the country at least for five years or so.
IITians stop going to USA to make money.
Stay here and make India better than USA. Contribute to the country where which made you what you
are today. What else Indian govt. will do after spending millions of taxpayers rupees for their technical
educationgift them ivory tower?
