Curriculum delivery review: How do the above contribute to meeting the aims of CTCʼs learning vision?
AIM: Stakeholders to co-create a shared ʻlearning visionʼ that drives all learning experiences across the college
(students, parents, teachers, support staff, governors, community, trust partners, local business people)
OUTCOMES - Strategic alignment of core principles and values re: learning across the college
- Consistent understanding of a shared learning vision (and to take advantage of the effects associated with its
establishment)
- Reinforced awareness of the importance of the standards agenda, ECM agenda and the need to facilitate
learning experiences that enable students to flourish / meet the demands of the 21st century
AIM: To review the core components of curriculum delivery in line with meeting the aims of CTCʼs learning vision
OUTCOMES - AC days and Immersion days reviewed via consultation with some stakeholders - changes implemented
in line with CTC learning vision.
- Other core components of curriculum delivery reviewed in accordance with CTC learning vision and
implemented changes (eg: new Y7 curriculum?)

Continual Professional Development
CTC as a ʻlearning organisationʼ
AIM: i) To encourage all colleagues to view CTC as a ʻlearning organisationʼ (as members of
it we are expected to continually seek to improve our performance) Should CTC
develop a T&L
policy?
ii) To develop CPD opportunities that:
- improves even further the consistency of high quality teaching and learning across
CTC underpinned by sound pedagogy
Should CTC build capacity to
- establishes consistency regarding the facilitation of CTCʼs ʻholisticʼ agenda support the SIP by creating
new roles? (Champion of
Learning / Assessment / AC
