Enabling HR Professionals To Change the Main Appraiser

Purpose
When an appraisal is planned or is in progress, the main appraiser may be transferred to another
department or terminated. In this business scenario, the main appraiser is no longer part of the plan
population. HR Professionals need to change the main appraiser of appraisals where the main appraiser is
transferred or terminated.
Note: The process described in this note applies to the standard appraisals functionality.
Process
The following screenshots illustrate how to enable HR Professionals to change the Main Appraiser for a
planned or ongoing appraisal, if the main appraiser is transferred or terminated.
Using the Oracle Framework personalization feature, you display:

The View list menu on the View Appraisals page that helps HR Professionals to select the
required appraisals for update.

The Update icon for each appraisal using which HR Professionals can update appraisal
information.

Prerequisite
Set the profile option Personalize Self-Service Defn to Yes at the desired level to enable
personalization.
Steps
Complete the following steps to enable HR Professionals to change the Main Appraiser
1. Navigate to the HR Professional responsibility Appraisals function.

2. Enter the search criteria and click Go to search for the worker whose appraisals main appraiser
you need to change.

3. Click the Action icon. The completed appraisals of the worker are displayed.

4. Click Personalize Appraisals. Set the Rendered property to True for Update item at the
required level.

5. Set the Rendered property to True for BtnTableLayout item at the required level. Click
Apply to save the changes.

6. The View drop down is displayed. Select All to view all the appraisals of the worker. The
Update icon is enabled for Appraisals which are at the Ongoing status.

7. Click Update for the Ongoing appraisal and change the main appraiser. Click Apply to save
the changes.
