Leading provider of integrated food service and facilities management in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico serving 10
million customers in 6,000 locations with $4 billion in annual sales and over 110,000 employees.
District Manager, Northern California (1999 - 2014)
Manage a $26 million district with 32 managers and over 400 employees serving 15 multi-service accounts. Serve
as primary client relationship manager and leader for the internal team overseeing contract requirements, quality,
staff development and account retention and growth Lead retention and account expansion strategies, and contract
negotiations. Oversee budget development and ongoing reporting requirements with a strong focus on continuous
improvement initiatives to increase profitability. Develop managerial team competencies and leadership
capabilities, and assist in team building efforts.

Managed a multi-service contract for an $8 million account including Food Service, Fleet Management, Copy
Services and Office Support Services with a staff of nine managers and over 175 employees. Total food service

operations for the 14,000+ employee facility included three cafs, five satellite cafs and catering. Involved with
planning, construction and opening of new caf.

Extended contract for three years without a bid process by delivering on all contract requirements with high
quality and developing trusted client relationships.
Delivered cost savings to HP with quality office support services administrative assistants placements.
Designed and enhanced color copying services that brought cost savings to client and grew revenue.
Food Service Director - Weber State University, Ogden, UT (1995 - 1996)
Took over and turned around this failing account which managed total food service operations at an 8000 student
commuter campus. The unit included a food court caf, catering, resident dining, faculty dining and concessions.
Supervise six Managers and Supervisors and a staff of 40 FTEs. Also served as District Safety Coordinator.
Key Accomplishments
Increased profitability by $200,000 in two years, following a five year loss of approximately $1 million.
Rebuilt client trust to achieve two, one-year contract extensions with no competitive bidding.
Improved catering processes to retain exclusive catering rights for the account, which were in jeopardy.
Controller - University of Nevada, Reno, NV (1993 - 1994)
Managed all financial aspects for this $8 million account, including accounts payable/receivable, budgets, payroll,
reporting, and inventory, for Retail and Resident Dining Services, Vending, Catering and Concessions operation.
Successfully organized and developed central accounting office processes. Performed trend analysis to assist
decision making. Served as Network Administrator and Account Safety Coordinator.

Defined accounting processes for management team that resulted in a realized profit one year after
account opening.
Supported General Manager to provide consistently high quality service and establish strong client
