Technology-Enhanced Unit: Curated Toolkit and Unit Design

Using a unit of content from your own teaching practice, curate a toolkit of resources (including
both content resources and technology tools resources). Design a unit of instruction
incorporating those resources. Link the curated resources to your e-portfolio and reflect about the
results of your instruction on your practicum blog. There is no requirement for how extensive
this unit should be but it should extend over multiple days and reflect a thoughtful and creative
use of technology. This is your chance to refresh/renew/re-envision your own instruction based
on the knowledge and skills youve developed in your program.
Components:
Curated ToolkitUse your choice of one or more curation tools (scoop.it, list.ly, blendspace)
Part One: Technology tool resources
Part Two: Content-focused resources
Unit DesignThis must be based on your current teaching responsibilities. The unit length is
your choice but this must be more than one single instructional session.
ReflectionIncluded on your practicum blog

You will NOT submit your curated toolkit and unit design as an assignment to
be graded separately. Embed appropriate artifacts on your e-portfolio and
reflect on the design and implementation of your unit on your practicum blog.
Follow the performance expectation guidelines below to ensure that you have
met the requirements for this required practicum activity.
