Attempt all questions from Section A and any four questions from Section B.

All working, including rough work, must be clearly shown and must be done on the same sheet as the rest of

Question 1:

(a) Given:

Question 3:
(a) In the given figure, tangents PQ and PR are drawn to a circle such that angle RPQ=30 0. A
chord RS is drawn parallel to the tangent PQ. Find the angle RQS.

(b) The median of the following observations 11, 12, 14, (x-2), (x+10), 32, 38, 47 arranged in
ascending order is 23. Find the value of x and hence find the mean.
(c) Use a graph- papers for this question (take 1 cm = 1 unit on both the axes). Plot the points
