comes through the harness slots behind or below the babys shoulders. For convenience, you can
purchase a base that fits into the car with detachable carrier. Many infant seats also fit into a stroller.

Forward-facing: the safest way for toddlers to travel

The next stage for infants aged 9 months 3.5 years / 9kg to 18kg

These bigger seats allow children to ride forward facing. They are still used semi-reclined to keep
the babys head on the headrest and its airway open. Harness straps still come from behind or below
the shoulders.
Toddler seats for children aged 3.5 12 years / 15kg to 36kg

These seats face forward in an upright position and the shoulder straps come from harness slots that are
