WHERE DO WE GO NOW?

1. What do you think is the message of the film?

I think there is many thing that the film want to show us, firstly it is about religious
conflict where the factors of conflict is caused by something out from the religion. Secondly, this
film want to show us that study about the strong unity and good tolerance is becoming success
effectively when in social communities there is heterogen component as main typical. Thirdly,
this film telling to us that the solution of religious conflict can reached by mediation between
religion foreman, but the main factor to make it running successfully or failed is citizen who has
commitment to understanding of each other.
2. What is the primary reason for conflict between Christians and Moslems in this
film?
In this film, the conflict between Islam and Christians more caused by something
suspicion from Molems and Christians, so when there is any issues or problem in the direction of
disregardness religious symbols, the suspicion will grow up fastly become a reason to beginning
a conflict.
3. Is this film only about religious conflict or also about the action of feminism in
mediating conflict?
I think this film was made for being a reflection how the conflict grow from any little
thing in our social relationship, but in this case, this film at same time showing too that the
women being main actor who want to decrease emotional flare between Christians and Moslems
before it will be religious conflict, so I think yes, this film is also about the action of feminism in
mediating conflict.
4. Is it possible to convert to a different religion overnight?

Of course not, it is only happen on film. But in real life, every decision is made with a
physicological consideration and take a long time to process because converting a religion will
be so influentially to other aspect in our life. Thats why I think it is possible to convert to a
different religion overnight without a long process.
5. What do you think about placing the blame on god for worldly problems?
Actually we can seeing this question from two side, physicological perception and
theology perception. Firstly, in physicological perception, it is considered to be something
natural because human has weakness and then they are placing themselves on god, certainly they
are thinking the god must understanding what their want. Human are always using their
paradigm to interpret everything about god and in this problem, they are thinking that god must
paying them by giving a good thing, by helping when they are in something problem after they
are making faith and life as god will. When it is not happen, human will thinking that the god is
not take care anymore of them and they are placing the blame on god. Secondly, in theology
perception human will never understand about god means. Human has a limited knowledge on
everything so by this perception, to understand god will by using human logical rules is
uselessness and placing the blame on god is cannot approved.
