ANCIENT HINDU SPELL FOR INVISIBILITY

Lots of requests for [invisibility spells], so here's one


I've just come across. It's from the Srividyaarnavatantra,
a Tantric manuscript dealing mainly with Tripuraasundari
(and with Kali and some other goddesses to a lesser degree).
---------------------A process has been prescribed for making oneself invisible
to others. With five wicks, one each made of the fibers of
arka (Calatropis gigantea),
shaalmali (Salmalia malabarica),
kaarpaasa (Gossypium heraceum) [i.e. cotton],
patta (cloth),
pankaja (lotus)
[dipped in] narataila (human oil i.e., oil extracted from a
corpse) one should kindle five lights.
These should be placed, one by one, on five human skulls.
Then the combined black ashes, obtained from the above
lights, should be applied to the eyes while one is in a
temple of Shiva.
The ashes are first consecrated with the following mantra,
recited 1008 times:
Om hum phat kaali kaali mahaakaali maamsa-shonitam khaadaya
khaadaya devi maa pasyatu manuseti hum phat svaahaa.

1) Do this when the moon is wanning, or if you want it gone
*now* do it on the dark of the moon.
2) Use an object to a focus of what you wish to banish, and
destroy the object in the ritual (ripping and chewing it to
bits works well for some folks, burning it works for
others).
3) Try some Datura leaves in incense as you work; it is
great for banishings. Asafoedita herb also works, but it
will also likely banish *you* (it smells incredibly vile and
induces nausea in most folks). Hope this helps.
Example: I was having trouble finding romance, so a did a
ritual where I took a piece of black cord, and symbolically
made it the focus for all the forces, internal and external,
which were keeping me from finding romance. I annointed it
with my blood, saliva and semen. I then ripped and chewed
the cord to bits, and burned the remains. I summoned up all
of my anger about my lack of romance and focused it into the
ritual. The ritual worked, a bit *too* well at first, but
it worked.

(AN OFFERING TO OGUN)
[I've translated this Santerian spell from a Hispanic pulp
publication titled "Presagio", by Carlos Canet. There is no
clear publication date but "#172 & 173" of Year 9 were
published in 2000. Please note: the language may seem a bit
stilted and awkward, and sometimes the instructions are
somewhat incomplete, but I have translated them verbatim
from the Spanish, keeping the sense as much as possible.

You will need:
an old tool, broken in use,
green and black ribbons,
half a pound of fried pork and half a pound of raw pork smeared with red palm
oil,
three small bottles of gin or brandy,
the powders "For Me" and "10 Powers."
Sprinkle the tool with the powders and wrap it with the
ribbons, first one then the other afterwards, write on
parchment paper with pencil the job that you desire and use
it to wrap up the meats, take the tool and the packet with
the meats to the railroad line and deposit it there, empty
the three little bottles of gin or brandy at the same place
and request your desire.

disbelief? too late by then. laughter? not usually very possible for
the frightened newbie. what confusion to say 'there are enemies, they
are dangerous, laugh at them and disbelieve in them'? insanity.

inform her as to how rare, what these experiences are really like,
and how people tend to deal with it. do they go insane? are they
'possessed' like in "The Exorcist"? are they made to do things
which are loathesome and horrific (with feces? :>)? how many such
encounters have you had with these nasties and this phenomenon?

disbelief is the FIRST thing one ought learn, not some hoaky ceremonialism
with mythos attached followed by warnings and hand-waving.

never get into the paradigm. oppose the instruction. dissuade the idiots
who put forward the notion that the spirits are malevolent. it is very much
like 'black magick'. while there is some truth to it, that truth is largely
overblown and fallacious, better reframed within polar paradigms.

here is the advice I would give her:
1) most of what people say is asinine; don't believe them; instead
ask serious questions in response and see where they are
coming from; form hesitant hypotheses about the world and try
to use some common sense and Occam's Razor; base what you know
on your experience, not on the 'authority' of others in the
realm of magick or religion (being guided is one thing, taking
what anyone says as 'gospel truth' is hazardous); from your
hypotheses form your preferred operating paradigm; allow for
others which may compete, entertain these occasionally but only
for the purposes of decementation or flexibility
2) resist the urge to presume the world is out to get you or that
there is a Maleficent Force of Evil which you must oppose;

than polar, unified or nondual) ways; consider carefully the

the Cause of Righteous Liberation and Goodness; instead, if
you find rites traditional or non that you like which have
these characteristics, reformulate them toward more stable
ends before you admit them into your regimen (if you even
*have* a regimen)
4) whenever confronted with what could possibly be spectres of
this nightmare perspective (ghosts out to possess you, monsters
under your bed or in the closet, demons trying to take away
your magick wand, etc.) stop what you are doing, assume the
most powerful stance and mudra and appearance you can muster
and then take a very clear and direct LOOK at where you think
this entity resides; spend a great deal of time watching them
and trying to understand with clarity what they are doing and
if they are even there; you will most often find that they
are figments of your own mind; otherwise you may find that they
mean you no harm at all and you have misunderstood them
5) consider carefully the nature of the cosmos into which you
were born, what type and quality of structure it has or you
want it to have, and what your place is within it; don't
worry if you don't think you know enough, plan it out and

get some basic ideas from which to proceed; then watch the
world as you conduct your life and rites and make changes

to actions taken within it; you may find that your original
construction will not need many adjustments to function very

a protective talisman and place within it reserve energy

mentality; learn how to do what you interpret as 'carefully
constructing and/or reinforcing defensive magical wards or
nodes'; above all remember that intention and belief are
powerful weapons of influence and that there is a great
deal of substance behind the power of 'believing something
into harmlessness or nonexistence'; ignorance is no excuse,
but disbelief can be a powerful ally
7) when any of the above doesn't work, carefully act as if
what you are encountering is the unknown; learn about it,
assimilate it into your worldview; protect yourself from
it when you perceive a real threat; learn to scrutinize
particular and fascinating objects which intrigue or
frighten you; separate yourself from them, treat them the
cautious respect they deserve; remember that a neutral
acquaintance which at first appeared fearsome is better
to hold onto than an enraged enemy whom you just smote
with your flea-flicker wand.
given this advice I would ask her to challenge and discuss every bit
of 'magical knowledge' she has ever learned, doubt it strongly, and
then reconstruct what she can from her own experience and desire,
watching the line between these two (experience and desire) as she
goes through life and reworking her method and approach as necessary.
above all I would advise her to choose more carefully her instructors,
minimize those whom she listens to with deep belief, and relate that
I find there are people in the occult world who will get no end of
pleasure from frightening and awing her with their malicious lies and
poor misunderstandings.

-A SPELL TO MEET YOUR SPIRIT GUIDE (ANGEL)
Items Needed:
Altar Candle
Day candle
Offertory Candles
3 Violet candles
3 White candles

Crystal ball or glass of water


Anise, cardamon, or corriander incense
Jasmine, lemon, rose, or sandalwood oils
Cinnamon, frankincense, myrrh, or sandalwood bathing herbs
Preparation:
Breathe deeply and build a ball of protective light around
you. While soaking in your ritual bath, meditate on the
whole ritual: the steps you will take and what you wish to
say to your spirit guide when you make contact.
Ritual:
Enter the circle and light the incense. With the oil, dress
the altar candle and the day candle while concentrating on
the purpose of the ritual. Light the annointed candles and
state your intent:
I am here to make contact with my Spirit Guide,
And to acknowledge him or her
With a sharp instrument (perhaps and athame), inscribe
violet candle #1 with the word "Spirit". Dress it with oil.
Light it, direct your energies into it, and say:
Here do I light the first Lamp of Spirit.
May its light reach out across the barriers
from this world to the next.
May it make contact with that World of Spirit
into which we will eventually enter.
Take your censer or incense wand and swing it around censing
the whole area around the altar, while rhythmically
repeating the word "Merge" and building up energy to focus.
Replace the censer and pick up violet candle #2. Inscribe it
again with the word "Spirit" and dress it with the oil. Put
it back on the altar, light it, direct your energy into it,
and say:
Here do I light the second Lamp of Spirit.
May its light also reach out across the barriers
from this world to the next.
May it make contact with that World of Spirit
and help spread the light,
illuminating the passageway between our worlds."
Again, take the censer or incense wand and cense the entire
area around the altar while chanting the word "Merge" Build
up your energy to focus.
Take violet candle #3, inscribe with the word "Spirit",
dress with oil, charge with your energy, light it and say:
Here do I light the third Lamp of Spirit.
May its light also reach out across the barriers
from this world to the next.
May the light from these three lamps blend and grow,
dispelling all darkness and lighting the way

That my Spirit Guide may come to me


and speak with me here today.
Inscribe the 3 white candles with the word "Truth" and
anoint each candle with oil. Light the 3 white candles in
order of 1, 2, 3, and say:
Here do I build Truth.
As these candles burn throughout this ritual,
their power generates nothing but truth
In all that transpires between this world and the next.
Through these candles there is truth
In all communications that come to me".
Again, cense the entire altar area while chanting the word
Merge
Replace the censer and continue chanting. Sit comfortably
while chanting, and gaze into the crystal ball, or the clear
glass of water. Continue chanting until you feel it is right
to let the chant taper off.
Continue to quietly look into the crystal ball or glass, not
trying to picture anything. Keep your mind blank, so
whatever comes will appear in its own free will.

Look into the crystal and blink naturally. Try
anything in your peripheral vision, just the
crystal.

Eventually a face or figure will appear. This may take a


long time, or it may appear almost immediately. If it
doesn't come at all within approximately 20 minutes, abandon
this attempt, extinguish the candles in the order in which
they were lit, leave the altar set up, and try this ritual
again in three days. You should have results within a month
at most.
When a figure does appear, ask if he/she is your Spirit
Guide. You will hear an answer. You may not hear it out
loud, or even see the figure's lips move, but you will be
aware of the answer. This is how most of your conversation
will proceed. You will ask your questions mentally (or out
loud) and the answers will be clear inside your mind.
Ask if you have more than one spirit guide. If yes, ask the
others to appear also.
You may ask anything you wish to know, but it is suggested
to establish a connection first where your Spirit Guide may
appear to you at any time, or at specific times, so that you
can converse with other spirits through him/her.
When you have finished speaking with your Guide, thank
him/her, then sit for a moment with your eyes closed,
meditating on all that you have learned.

Extinguish the candles in reverse order to clear the circle.
