Purpose

This course is designed to provide concentrated and
comprehensive training in the theory and practice of
auditing quality management systems. It establishes the
responsibilities of a quality auditor and the techniques
and methodology that is required to effectively audit a
quality management system.

This course is ideal for quality practitioners who have an
understanding of quality management and who have
been, or will become, involved in internal quality
assurance audits, second party (i.e. vendor) audits
and/or third party audits.

Prerequisites
Participants must have an understanding of the workings
of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
The successful completion of the Understanding the ISO
9000:2000 Standards or Demystifying ISO 9001:2008
and Internal Auditor Training courses are strongly
recommended.
Audit experience and strong analytical skills are also
essential. If an applicant has any reservations about his or
her level of understanding, please contact our Education
and Training service staff who can provide appropriate
guidance.
