Guidelines to Prepare a Homework or

Production
A Homework or Production is one of the evaluative tasks used as a summative
assessment instrument of the curso de Formacin en Lengua Extranjera Ingls
Modalidad Virtual. The aim of this evaluative task is to assess students oral or
written performance when facing different social situations in diverse contexts.
Teachers should design these tasks based on the linguistic objectives presented in
each level. Tasks can be oral, written or a combination of both abilities.
Structure of the task
The task should include the following information:

texts and give credit to yourself if you designed the task or
adapted it. Write also the date (month and year) when you
prepared the task.

Email to a Foreigner Friend
Objective: At the end of this task, you should be able to write an email in which
you include the description of a picture.
Task: Imagine you are sending an email to a foreigner friend and you want to
include a picture of your family or your friends and a description of them.
Steps:
1. Please choose a picture of your family or friends.
2. Write your email including an introduction of the people in the picture and
description of what they do, what do they look like, what they are wearing
and what they are doing in the picture. (150 words min)
3. Download the file to do your homework HERE. (Check page 4)
4. Upload your file here. Please name your file, including your first name, last
name, and group number. Remember that only .doc files can be uploaded.
