Reiki Empowerment Meditation

My Reiki guides gave this meditation to me during a distance Reiju. It was also inspired
in part by the discussion of using spirit hands in Reiki the true story by Don Beckett, by
the kuji kiri practices, by tantric kriya yoga meditations and by practices within the
western esoteric tradition.
It is helpful in starting a self-healing session, as a mini self-healing in itself and as
meditation to deepen your connection to Reiki.
1) Commence by performing the Hatsurei-ho.
Connect to both heaven and earth energies,
2) Keep you physical hands in gasho and imagine a set of invisible healing hands (the
hands of you reiki guides) covering your eye. This set of hands contains the chu ko rei
symbol on its palm.
3) Another set of hands, containing the sei hei ki symbol, is placed on top of the first set
of hands and a third set, containing the ho sha ze sho nen, on top of both.
4) These three sets of hands are left in place, delivering reiki, while steps 2 and 3 are
performed for the rest of the full body positions. In the end you will be covered in 3-layer
deep sets of energetic healing hands. Just appreciate this feeling for a bit.
5) Now a large (4 or 5 ft.) hand is seen to hover several feet over your head, and a
matching hand hovers several feet underneath you. They both contain the daikomyo
symbol on their palms and the fire serpent symbol on each fingertip.
These hands project powerful reiki energy upwards and downwards simultaneously
throughout and around the entire body and especially through all seven charkas, opening
them, cleansing them and gently and safely stimulating the kundalini. Relax and enjoy
this deeply.
6) Now be aware of a large hand in front of you, one behind you and one on either side.
These hands also have the daikomyo symbol on their palms, but they have an OM symbol
on each fingertip. Feel yourself surrounded on all sides be powerful spiritual reiki energy,
cleansing and empowering you.
7) When you are ready (take your time) realize that you are within a sphere of pure reiki
energy, this sphere is connected to (and indeed is in no way separate from) an endless sea
of reiki. Let all of the spiritual hands dissolve into the reiki (first the outer ring, then the
top and bottom, then the sets of hands in reverse order) until you are floating in a sphere
and a sea of pure reiki energy. Now, from your head to you toes or your toes to your head
or any other way that feels correct, allow your body to dissolve into the reiki.

Take the dissolving slowly, inch-by-inch and even millimeter-by-millimeter, skin,

muscles, bones, and organs. When you reach the last part of you not yet dissolved, pause
for a moment and focus on it completely. Then let it too dissolve completely so that you
are completely one with the sea of reiki.
8) Remain in the above state as long as you wish and then return. You have been
recreated from the reiki power.
