Sleep Exhibition 2009

Working with two separate designers we implemented and built two bedrooms which
where exhibited at this event. This was a new venture, which was a challenge in that
both bedrooms where of different design. The design was built off site and then
transported to London where we re-erected it in two days ready for the opening day.
Both designs were a great success and one was transported to Dubai to be
implemented into a new designer hotel.
This was a great team effort as all involved were greatly praised for their commitment
and involvement in bringing this event to a successful conclusion.

Assistance Site/Project manager
Working as the intermediate site manager on this 8 Million Pound project for the
University of Nottingham. Initially this was a 60 week programme but due to the

My daily duties include coordinating with the sub-contractors, reviewing the site
progress and reporting this on a weekly basis to the management team and the sub-
contractors, daily checks on materials, programming the works and Daily H&S
checks. Oversaw all internal finishing trades’ packages which involved the
supervision of trades and labour on a daily basis and ensure that areas of work where
completed up to standard with minimal defects as possible

Site measurement of works carried out by the sub-contractors).
Working for this multi million pound turn over company we were successful in
turning round 81 bedrooms in just 11 weeks. This project was a total refurbishment of

the quality of the finishing.
