We need your help developing a plan for Clevelands urban forest.

The City of Cleveland is working to develop a unified vision for the future of our urban forest
together with LAND Studio, Thriving Communities Institute, Holden Arboretum and Cleveland
Neighborhood Progress. This Tree Plan will help restore and protect our urban forest on both
public and private lands.
With the help of Davey Resource Group, we will be looking at policies, programs and land use
planning to create one vision for our urban forest, along with an implementable roadmap for
achieving short and long-term urban forestry goals.
The Cleveland Tree Plan will only be as good as the information used in its creation and
commitment of all involved to work together in its implementation. We know your time is in
demand, but we hope you can help us make Cleveland the Forest City once again. Please
consider participating in three, 2-hour invite-only breakfast meetings in 2015:
1. Stakeholder Meeting #1: Our Trees

Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, 11327 Shaker Blvd, Suite 500W, Cleveland 44104
DISCUSSION: Taking stock of our urban forest via canopy cover and inventory data,
natural areas, climate resiliency, tree and canopy benefits, and other relevant
information, we will discuss where we are, where we should be, and develop future
goals.

agencies, nonprofits, utilities, land owners, neighborhood groups and more.

keeping, funding, etc.
Each meeting will start with a short presentation by Davey on relevant data for that particular
