opposition has obtained Rajapaksa regimes complete plan of military
operation during the upcoming presidential election on 8th January 2015. In
a internal document called Western province, Colombo district Segment II.
In this document Rajapaksa regime has mapped out a plan to cover the part
of Colombo District by employing retried military officers including major
generals and DIGs.

Today leader of the UNP and parliamentary opposition Ranil Wikremasinghe
and former President Chandrika Kumarathumage explained this dangerous
situation to the hurriedly summoned meeting of diplomatic missions in
Colombo this afternoon.

There are 36 such high ranking retired military officers listed under the
category of in charge of mobile units.
Some of these officers have been stationed in higher education institutes
like University of Sabaragamuwa, according to the document.(Page10)
This military operational plan is an another evidence that Rajapaksa regime
has lost hopes of winning the upcoming presidential election by peoples
vote and now they are looking for ways and mean not to give up the power.
But LankaeNews sources say that Rajapaksa regime has lost the credulity
within the armed forces and it is highly unlikely that military intervention to
keep the Rajapaksas in power.
