Weekly Schedule
Consult this calendar for daily assignments and expectations, keeping in mind that what you see here is not
set in stone. In other words, this course calendar deserves the freedom to go where it needs to go. You should
expect adjustments and amendments to what followsand you can even suggest changes! Keep these
requirements in mind:

Blog post deadlines: post your assigned blog work at 8am on the morning of each due date listed
below

Comments on classmates blog posts: for each blog post assignment, choose at least two of your
classmates blogs (in your section or the other FYS section for this course) and comment with at
least three sentences that evaluate, respond to, or otherwise engage each blog entrys
viewpoint/content. Your comments on the blogs will count as part of your participation grade for the
course

Posting reflections of your ongoing reading of a professional blog: Every Friday, we will spend a
few minutes sharing our reflections on the professional blogs we have chosen to follow this term.
Make sure to post a one-paragraph reflection from your reading of your chosen blog by 8am every
Friday (see the list and assignment sheet for details)
