When was the last time you walked into a cinema hall, enjoyed the movie, laughed
and none of it was because of impractical mention of your sex organs?
Or when was it that you enjoyed the wit in dialogues? Or didn't feel guilty for coming with a brain to watch the movie? Or, when was the last time people clapped during the movie, and it wasn't becaus e some steroid junkie smashed a car or kicked a zillion men in mid air? When was it that the movie revolved around love, but didn't have a drunkard supe rstar or small town touchy innocent girl? When was the last time when there were no camera angles zooming in on the actres s' bust? When was it that there was a movie, which dealt with its core subtly, with no ea rth stalling shenanigans? Safe to say, we've allowed to weave a healthy, thriving, self corroding form of fi lm making with a promised viewer ship. Dare anyone talk about this God we've cr eated for us, us who worship the demi god who , maybekills a poor homeless on on e of the fun days. I'm not sure where the boundary is, which decided the acceptable issues in our m ovies, but sure enough we kept religion out. It wouldn't be harmful though, to h ave a new arena, to play a bit with it to. There's need to slack up a bit. Loose n up a few muscles to smile more and frown less. There is no need to go Sparta o n anything and everything that isn't of the same color as you. And for something as mighty as God, he surely doesn't need your backlash or diktats to protect hi m,dear terribly torn insecure human on the inside. That poor kid with the garbag e sack, or that frightened girl in the midst of horny men ina bus are the right candidates for security Z+. Find that insecurity in you, that fault in your soci ety, or that fatality in your habitat that needs a fix, instead of wasting time writing death notes to authors, film makers or artists. If you really can't iden tify yourself with the idea expressed, or appreciate the aptness of it, please m ake do with accepting it as the directors flirting with creativity. As much as i shq wala love is justified, Bhagwan wala Ram is too! Your sentiments are tender and mentality rigid, the right way is the opposite wa y. (This is an expression after an exposure to compounded stupidity and pathecity o ver PK. Not an open letter, not a slap response. Shrewd conclusions over each an d every bit of movie, knick knacks over 'bias' of 'insult' is the worst outcome for an above average attempt by a movie) ?#?Heisenberg?
