SOURCES INCOME
As a student in English Language Training Center, I found that there are only two
sources income which support my life in Kuala Lumpur. The two sources are
come from my parents and from allowance that I get from government. Every
month, I will get RM 430 from the allowance and RM 300 from my parents. The
total money that I get for each month is RM730. The pie chart below represents
the sources income for a month.
EXPENDITURE
I had spend RM250 per month for food and drink, RM 100 for books and RM 50
for clothing, transport and stationeries for each. As a student, I used a lot of
paper doing my assignment and sometime need to buy new cloth in order to add
my collection and also to replace the old one. I had to pay leisure for my class
fee and for GERKO fee. They are costs about RM 50 per month. I only spend
RM 30 for sports and recreation because I think that it is possible for me to get
some fun after struggling all the days with books. Someday, I need to rest and
release my tense. Table below shows my expenditure form per month.

SAVINGS
As I only use RM 580 per month, I have RM 150 left to be safe in the bank. I
decide to put the remaining money into the MAYBANK because of its higher
interest than other bank. It gives 3% interest per annum. Imagine what I can get
at the end of the year. Table below shows my calculation on the benefit that I will
get if I put my money in the bank:
Income
: RM 730
Expenditure : RM 580
Saving

= RM 730 RM 580
= RM 150 ( put in MAYBANK which interest 3% per annum)

ADJUSTMENT
Consider that,
On October, there is an unexpected incident that happened in my hometown. My
house had been flooded because of the monsoon. On that month, I need to
rushed back immediately and help my parent to clean up my house and repair
some things that are damage. I had to use some of my savings on that month. It
is about RM 100 in order to help my parent in hometown. Table below shows my
new budget for my saving starting from the incident month:

CONCLUSION
I have found that it is not too difficult to save the budget. It is good to have wellplanned budget in order to recover our money if we having such emergency
case. For me, it depends on ourselves how many we want to spend on or how
many we want to put in the bank unless we use the money to the right thing and
we can prepare to face some economical problems in future. In my budget, I
finally can save even small amount of money this year. It is about RM 53.82.
Hopefully, this mount will increase next year and there are no problems that need
to face next time. Even though, before this I have never do this budget proposal
but I really hope I will do such the same one day. It give a lot of benefits
especially for me. I will follow what I have do on my budget proposal in order o
have good in come in the future.
REFLECTION
First thing I did when I get this question, of course I read it and I tried to
understand what the question all about. I did some discussion with my
classmates in order to answer the question. Fortunately, some of my classmates
already had some information from our friends from Kajian Sosial class and from
the lecturer itself. We shared the information and I started to make my own draft
on this budget proposal. After I had finished it, I asked my friend to check
whether it is logic or not. I fund that, it is not very easy to make our own budget. I
would face some problems on the calculations and perhaps not the typing errors.
I concluded that doing this assignment made me more understand and how to a
budget planner, so that I learnt to spend my money on the right things.
