INTRODUCTION

E-shopping is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy

goods or services from a seller over the Internet using a web browser.

An online shop evokes the physical analogy of buying products or services at a bricksand-mortar retailer or shopping center; the process is called business-to-consumer (B2C)
online shopping. In the case where a business buys from another business, the process is
called business-to-business (B2B) online shopping.

We use php (Personel Home Page) and SQL technologies for this project.

PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development.

While SQL is used for the database.

SCOPE & OBJECTIVE

Project Scope
The supplementary specification applies to online shopping system. This
specification defines the non-functional requirement of the system such as:

Functionality:
Since it stand alone application, one or more user may use it at a time.

Usability:
Desktop interface
Windows 98/2000/XP/7

Reliability:
The system is available during online time only .

Performance:
The performance depends on hardware specification

Objectives
The purpose of this document is to define the requirements of Online shopping
system. This supplementary specification lists the requirements that are not readily captured in
the use case model. Supplementary specification and the use case model capture a complete set
of requirement of the system.

FEASIBILITY STUDY

We are studying PHP by which we can develope web phase of this project.
We also studying SQL by which we can develope database for this project.
We

also analyse the functionalities of the present e-shopping site by which we can

provide some additional functionalities in our project.

We are also collecting information and data from the internet for attractive design of our
project.

We are also trying to get the limitations from other e-shopping sites.

RESOURCES AND LIMITATIONS

For this project we have to required both type of resources hardware as well as software
resources:

OS: Windows
Language: Visual Basic

H/W Requirements
Intel PII Processor with 300 MHz speed.
64 MB RAM
10MB Hard disk space

LIMITATIONS:
There are lot of challenges in front of administrator the database must be very secure and
accurate.
Developers have challenge to maintains their site properly i.e, if there are lot of users send a
request at a time so developers can face hanging problem.

CONCLUSION:

Our project is fully web based and work online and uses language like PHP and SQL under this
project we trying to make it more user friendly by which users can use e-shopping easily and in
this project we also add a functionality like if once a user can give their details like(phone no,
adderess, and email-id) then on another time he will not need to give such a details again.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

Here we define the rough process of our software system i.e how will it works or what are the
phases of this project.
We simply provide a basic chart to explain how the things will work in the relation between user
and admin.
