FactoryTalk AssetCentre Benefits

CENTRALIZED DATABASE

The centralized SQL database is configured as

part of the system install and is the primary
repository for version control and traceability
information.
SOURCE CONTROL

Source control leverages the centralized

database and provides automatic version control.
This ensures proper file management and single
master relationships.
AUDITS

The Audit feature gathers information centrally

that is generated by user interactions. The audit
trail consists of user, device, computer, time and
action taken.
EVENTS

The Events feature gathers system-generated

information centrally from FactoryTalk-enabled
applications, including FactoryTalk AssetCentre.
Typical event information may include time,
source generating or messaging.
