INTRODUCTION OF BHEL
BHARAT HEAVY ELECTRICALS LIMITED was
setup in Bhopal in August 1956, with a view to
self sufficiency in industrial product and power
equipments.

B.H.E.L has acquired certification to quality


Management Systems –ISO 9001, Environmental
Management Systems -ISO 14001 and
occupational Health and Safety Management
System-18001

Today B.H.E.L. has become the largest


engineering plant employing managing
approximately 72000 employees. Its
headquaters are located at Delhi.

INTORO ABOUT JHANSI PLANT
Established on 9th January 1974.

Its foundation was laid by Late Mrs. Indira


Gandhi the Prime Minister of India.

An estimated cost of Rs. 16.22 crores


inclusive of Rs. 2.1 crores for township.

The commercial production of the unit


began in 1976-77 with annual profit of Rs.
53 Lacs.

What is working capital
management
 WORKING CAPITAL :- To access the assets over liabilities
is
called working capital.

WC=Current Assets – Current Liabilities

 WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT :- Management of


working capital is concerned with the problems that arise in
attempting to manage the current assets, the current
liabilities and the inter-relationship that exists between
them.
