The Temple University Memorial Awards are designed to recognize Temple
University students fo
for their outstanding academic, leadership and service achievements.
This application is intended to make your application process as smooth as
possible. Please read the description of each award AND THE DIRECTIONS
prior to applying, to ensure you meet the criteria and have completed all steps
necessary for consideration of the award.

applications can not be processed.

references) will not be presented to the selection committee.
DESCRIPTION OF AWARD:
Valaida S. Walker Award:
This award is presented to a student in good academic standing who

demonstrates University leadership as well as service to the broader

community. This award is open to current sophomores and juniors.
THE ESSAY QUESTION:
You will be asked to write one essay as part of this application.
REFERENCES:
References MUST be supplied as part of your application process. Applications
are considered incomplete until two (2) references are received.
