The challenges of 2014 will be followed by the blessings from above in 2015! As a body of believers we are beginning
our third year together. Three is a significant number in scripture Noah had three sons The Ark of the Covenant
carried three items; jar of manna, Aarons staff, Ten Commandments Jesus confronted Satan three times while being
tempted in the wilderness Paul was shipwrecked three times etc. But the number three is most significant because
this is the number of days between the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Those three days represent chapters in the Christians life a day to die a day to question a day to live again! I believe this pattern can be applied to our journey here at Faith Christian Church. Many of us went through some challenges in 2012. When we first started meeting in 2013 a part of us had died. By the end of 2013 we had entered the stage of
questioning. Some things we understood, but for much of 2014 there continued to be questions that required for us to
lean on God more than in days past. Now we enter 2015 ready to live again!
Jesus told his followers in John 10:10 that the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy; but he came that we might have
life abundantly! The effort to get to this point has been a process in which we have learned more about God and ourselves. Now the ground has been plowed, the seed has been sown, and a harvest awaits our embrace in 2015.
We begin this new year with a renewed emphasis on the Priority of Prayer. We are coupling prayer with the power in
praise. Our prayers lay the foundation our praise, even in the midst of challenges, unleashes the power of our God.

The Power in Praise

The Provisions in the Promise
The provisions made for us in the promises of God provide stability in the face of a rapidly changing world. The world
can be a scary place innocent adults and children being murdered the threats of nuclear war racial wars in the
homeland etc. However the providential hand of God still holds this world in his hands. All that is happening is either
being caused or allowed by him. We can be sure God is at work to bring people the good news of Jesus Christ!
Operation Wake Up is a worship theme as we begin 2015. I am committed to giving you the teachings of the Bible
concerning Gods End-Time Calendar. A steady diet of nourishment from Gods Word will come each week from the
pulpit. A few changes to our Sunday morning schedule will allow for us to make the most of our time together.
I encourage you to stay in Gods Word during the week pray often fellowship with other believers share the love of
Christ in the places you occupy. Lets make this a banner year for God. I am resolving from the outset to give the Lord
all the honor and glory for what will be accomplish. I invite you to come as we see God move both in and through us!
