Project Description:
Coloplast has a running instance of Siebel on Premises 7.8.x Life Sciences edition installed in UK along with
Siebel Analytics. However, the conclusion was to continue with Siebel on Premises. It has been decided
by Coloplast to upgrade the Siebel CRM and Siebel Analytics applications to the latest versions.The main
objectives of the upgrade are to ensure that the platform continues to be supported by Oracle and Coloplast
A/S has an IT platform in place upon which the business can build new applications.
Responsibilities:
* Involved in upgrading siebel Analytics (7.8.4) Marketing Application to OBIA 7.9.6.3
* Fixing various Upgrade and configuration issues during upgrade process.
* Active particiapation in preparing/validating test cases and performing unit/integration test.
* Extensively worked on DAC Upgrade 7.8.4 to 10.1.3.4.1
* Setting up DAC 10.1.3.4.1 environment and encorporating ETL customization to DAC server.
* Fixing various configuration issues after upgrading DAC server metadata.
* Configured Data warehouse with regards to Siebel 8.1 vertical application and running various index scripts
for newly created warehouse tables
* Executing Dry run, Full load and incremental load by using DAC.
* Preparation of Data Lineage document with respect to customization and vanilla.
